Just earlier this week I posted that I hadn't received an update in a while, this morning I received a note from Jerome Glisse. The two things they are lacking right now in their development is i2c to do DDC probing and the PLL computation formula. Once those two items are addressed, we will hopefully see the release of a "dumb" driver (and a Wiki page). Also, Jerome and the R500 reverse engineers would like to contact those that may be developers of Radeon overclocking utilities for either Windows or Linux. The developers of these utilities may be able to share some additional R500 registers that could help them.
